Nissan Leaf becomes electric Japanese Car of the Year 2012


TOKYO - Announcement made at the Tokyo Motor Show to-42 is the first time in 32-year history of the award which came out as the winner of electric vehicles.

"We have sold 20 thousand Nissan Leaf and we have delivered on our promise to deliver zero emission vehicles globally. This award is a victory for Nissan is that we dedicate to our customers." said President & CEO of Nissan, Carlos Ghosn.

Nissan Leaf also received many awards which culminate in the award World Car of the Year 2011 on April. Award as the best car in Japan is further recognition of the value and attractiveness Nissan Leaf who has received many compliments from customers around the world.

Nissan automaker was pleased with the award received by one of its flagship product, the Nissan Leaf. The electric-powered vehicles Japannese successfully won Car of the Year 2011/2012.
