Dovizioso had to undergo surgery

Milan - When in middle of racing motorcycles, Dovizioso had an accident. It made a collarbone injury in his shoulder.

To recover the injury, the Italian had to undergo surgery on Saturday (1/7/2012) this. He will be handled by Giuseppe Porcellini, a doctor who also operated on the shoulder of Valentino Rossi in 2010 ago.

"I've seen pictures from the phone and collarbones (collarbone) could seem detached, in the presence of two fragments," explains Dr. Porcellini told Gazzetta dello Sport quoted by Autosport.


"The operation was inevitable even if for example he was an office worker," continued the doctor.

Injury itself occurs when the MotoGP test will be held at the end of the month, precisely on 31 January. Dovizioso also be a race against time to recover in time.

"We have to insert a plate and then will try to suggest Dovizioso to rest at least 15 days, in hopes he would be able to take the test."

"Whatever, he must be careful: do not forget that last year (Dani) Pedrosa had to undergo three operations collarbone," continued Dr. Porcellini warn patients.

Andrea Dovizioso will undergo surgery soon after seized with a collarbone injury. Considered quite serious, Dovizioso was reminded that it should not underestimate the injury.
