2012 sales of trucks hybrid and plug-ins in the whole world will reach 19,000 units

Environmentally friendly technology research firm, Pike Research said that 2012 sales of trucks hybrid and plug-ins in the whole world will reach 19,000 units and will increase by more than 45 percent annually over the next five years to reach 100,000 vehicles by the end of 2017.

The increase reflects a combination of the increasing number of models on the electrically moved vehicle of versatile and soaring sales in the retail industry that make more easy money companies spend to purchase alternative fuel vehicles.

AT & T, Coca-Cola, FedEx and UPS are some of the companies in recent years has sought to increase the number of fleet transport powered hybrid and plug-ins in an effort to trim spending on fuel and the expenditure of greenhouse gas emissions originating from their fleets.

SALES of truck hybrid vehicles and plug-ins will increase nearly doubled this year, due to the increase in the company chose a more sophisticated propulsion-powered vehicles to cut fuel expenses.
