Ayutthaya-flood that hit Thailand some time ago leaving a loss for Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co. Ltd.. As rumored Nationalmultimedia.com, as many as 1055 units of Honda cars submerged in muddy water damaged.
As information the cars are the result of Honda's production plant in Rojana Industrial Park is located in the area of Ayutthaya, Bangkok, Thailand, Tuesday (12/27/2011). 1055 honda car unit is damaged namely, Brio 217 units, 213 units of Jazz, City, 353 units, 150 units of the Civic, Accord 91 units, the CR-V 30 units and one unit Freed.
The plant is located 100 km north of Bangkok has a production capacity of 240 thousand cars per year. This car factory is the second largest in Thailand where the models produced include Honda Brio, Jazz, Civic and Accord. The models are to serve the Thai market and 30 other countries including Indonesia.
"I want to confirm that Honda will not move into manufacturing other countries," said the bald Pruittisarikorn, vice president of Honda Thailand. "We will remain close to our customers and the people of Thailand." he said.
"Although we were able to relocate the new cars and waiting for delivery to a safe area, 1055 vehicles at the plant remains were damaged by flooding," explained bald.
Bald adds, Honda has a clear policy regarding the maximum quality control and have strict procedures for destroying the vehicle. "They will not be sold." he said.
"To reassure customers that no part (of cars) will leave the factory or re-use, all stages of demolition will be done only in the factory," he said.
