Tokai University won the World Solar Challenge car race

University of Michigan team is in place to-3, followed by Twente of Holland from Ashiya University team from Japan.


The team from Tokai University won the solar racing vehicle travel as far as 3,000 kilometers of the desert of Australia, Thursday.

AFP reported Tokai is the first team reaches the end of the World Solar Challenge car race in Adelaide. Previously they won the same race in 2009.


The team was almost unbeatable by Nuon Solar team from Holland. Lines beginning of the game it was in Darwin and the race took place since Sunday. Difference in the distance the two teams was not until 30 km.

The race is that all held 11 times since 1987. Solar Team Philippines was forced to "step aside" after their vehicle battery exploded.
