Subaru XV is equipped with a capacity of 2,000 cc CVT's boxer engine


SINGAPORE - Subaru XV has a chassis with a length of 4450 mm, width 1780 mm and height 1570 mm and is equipped with Lineartronic Transmission (CVT) and the Auto Start Stop System is designed only for Subaru XV.

After being introduced for the first time for Southeast Asia in Thailand some time ago, now re-introduced by the XV Subaru Motor Image, the official distributor of Subaru. This time the new compact SUV from Subaru greet the Singapore market. The launch itself took place in a shopping mall Vivo City, Singapore.

XV is the latest generation of Subaru's crossover model that combines SUV practicality all in a fashionable form.

"People are now more emphasis on the function and appearance. Subaru XV is a combination of two elements. I believe today's society is very interested in performance and performance of Subaru XV." Glenn Tan, Executive Director of Tan Chong International Ltd.

Subaru XV is the first model produced by Tan Chong Motor Assemblies (TCMA) in Malaysia. This launch is a follow-up of production consignment contract agreement between the Tan Chong Group and Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI) for Subaru car assembly in Malaysia, namely 2.0i Subaru XV.

XV 2.0i Subaru assembly in Malaysia to begin in October 2012. XV will be marketed in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia through a network of distribution and sale of Tan Chong Group.

Subaru XV is intended for regional countries in the shade of Motor Image Group such as Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam, will be imported from Japan. For Singapore, XV Subaru 2.0i Premium will be the first model that launched to the market.
