Nissan Leaf obtained the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame (JAHFA) Car of the Year 2011-2012 and JAHFA Car Design of the Year 2011-2012


YOKOHAMA - Nissan Leaf's able to roam up to 160 miles with the batteries fully.

Nissan Leaf was named as the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame (JAHFA) Car of the Year 2011-2012 and JAHFA Car Design of the Year 2011-2012.

The jury chose Leaf as JAHFA Car of the Year 2011-2012 for the courage to develop electric cars a mass that exceeds the other manufacturers, attractive and competitive products, and have IT systems that enhance the usefulness of the vehicle.

While Leaf was considered the best design for expressing intelligent design as an EV sedan, reduce wind noise through aerodynamic shape, and interior design to express a new era.
