minicompact Ka's latest generation's manufactured by Ford in Brazil


Detroit: As quoted Insideline.com, Thursday (8 / 12), this latest model Ka began to enter the production phase in late 2013 or early 2014 at the Ford factory, located in Sao Bernardo do Campo, Brazil. Assembly of this model will be processed with a shortened version of the Fiesta platform and will draw inspiration from the style of Ford Start concept that was unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show 2010.

Investment in Sao Bernardo do Campo plant, which also will assemble a large truck Ford F-series compact pickups and Courier, is part of the massive investments worth 2.7 billion U.S. dollars which includes the modernization program in South America. Investment has also been announced since the spring of 2010. In Brazil, Ford also began to implement the midcycle face-lift systems at Ka model at this time.

Ford's automotive manufacturers invest $ 446 million U.S. dollars to assemble minicompact Ka latest generation in Brazil. However, the company has not announced whether this small hatchback car will be sold in the North American market or not.
