Renault denied Kubica not ready to appear at the beginning of the 2012 season

Morelli also acknowledges that if returned to the Formula 1 arena, Kubica will be tough as before. He believes, rider remains competitive and viable in the team large.

Robert Kubica's manager, Daniele Morelli, denied reports that the Polish rider was not ready to appear at the beginning of the 2012 season. He wished, Kubica can race at the start of the new season later.

On Wednesday (11.23.11), Renault got the news that Kubica will miss the 2012 season opener. The reason, Kubica was not ready because it is still in the process of recovering from severe injuries suffered during a rally earlier this year.

"Even if I work very, very hard over the last few weeks, I came to the conclusion that I am not ready to perform for the 2012 season. I've already called the team and inform them of this situation," Kubica said in a statement given Renault.

But on Thursday, his manager Daniele Morelli, said that the news was not true. He just admitted that there is no certainty whether Kubica ready for prime pre-season tests.

Morelli also said that the contract Kubica is now to be completed by the end of this year, not the end of 2012 as claimed Renault. However, they will do Kubica talks with management about the possibility of extending it to 2013.

"I do not understand why Renault Kubica replaced the words," Morelli said as quoted by Gazzetta dello Sport. "It is not true that he is not ready for 2012: he said he had no certainty whether ready for first test in February.

"(The contract) is not until 2012, but finished in late December, so that from 1 January we will be free to go anywhere."
