ECOnetic technology will be applied to Ford Focus and Fiesta

Frankfurt: ECOnetic technology will be applied to the latest variant of the Ford Focus and Fiesta, which is scheduled to be launched by mid next year in Europe. The second launch of the new tech car was part of a strategy developed by Ford's green technologies.

Ford stated half of the Focus and Fiesta sold in Europe in the second half of 2012 will already be equipped with ECOnetic technology, and the numbers will continue to grow until 2013.

All vehicles must have longed for a truly energy efficient. Ford tried to answer the needs of the market by creating technology that is claimed ECOnetic ultra-efficient.

Ford Focus and Fiesta ECOnetic plan also will participate in the arena of Frankfurt Motor Show next September 13 to 25. Both diesel engines will be fitted with the latest version of Ford's 1.6 L Duratoq.

Focus is also very efficient because it requires only 3.4 liters per 100 km, and according to Ford this is the record of the most fuel-efficient cars in the C-segment non-hybrid in Europe, while the Fiesta takes 3.3 liters per 100 km.

ECOnetic technology also has other features such as the engine auto start / stop, regenerative braking (braking technology that can produce energy) and active shutters grille.

Ford does not just stop there. The manufacturer undertakes to develop ECOnetic technology by reducing the level of carbon emissions by 30 percent again in 2006 and 2020.
