Mazda3 has now completed a new petrol engine, that is SKYACTIV-G 2.0 and SKYACTIV-DRIVE system


TOKYO - Japanese manufacturer mentions Mazda3 has now completed a new petrol engine that is SKYACTIV-G 2.0 and SKYACTIV-DRIVE system with six-speed automatic transmission. Newer models are now entered the production stage is done in Hofu plant, located in Yamaguchi, western Japan.

The Mazda Demio or also known  as Mazda2 facelift brings SKYACTIV technology , Mazda3 or Mazda Axela now turned to enter the production phase with similar technology.

The new engine is claimed to be able to save 15 percent of fuel consumption and improve performance of transmission systems as much as 4 to 7 percent from the previous model.

This model will be manufactured at three locations including Mazda Hofu plant in Yamaguchi, Japan, factory Changan Ford Mazda Automobile (CFMA) in China and AutoAllience Thailand (AAT). Later this model will be marketed in approximately 90 countries worldwide.

Besides the new engine, Mazda3 also features enhanced intelligent master-Drive (i-DM) which is a new feature that is used on the Mazda2 facelift.
