electric cars concept's introduced at the Frankfurt auto show

German car manufacturers, BMW will showcase its latest concept car at the Frankfurt auto show, Germany, next month.

Project i, the ranks of the car looking like a shark, believed to be the mainstay of BMW in the future. In addition to electrically driven, the ranks of Project i has the hallmark of a very light weight but also strong, because its body is made of carbon fiber materials.

According to the Daily Mail, one of the most interesting type of Project i is a coupe i8. Hybrid cars with engine capacity of 3 cylindrical and is equipped with a 1.5 liter turbo-charged technology. A set of electric motor complements the vehicle's engine. The car can reach a maximum speed of 155 miles per hour. It takes 105 minutes to charge the battery and the maximum distance that can be taken up to 400 miles. Line of Project i is expected to begin mass production in 2013.
