Coda also set the initial delivery of electric sedans costing U.S. $ 44,900 will be made in the fourth quarter of this year. The vehicles will be launched late in 2011 in California, the assumed target of 14,000 units a year of production.
DEVELOPER of lithium-ion battery system and Coda Sedan maker based in California USA has signed an agreement to develop electric vehicles with a Chinese car manufacturer, the Great Wall to the global distribution business.
The partnership agreed on lithium iron phosphate battery system developed by Coda Automotive to be installed into a few specific vehicles made by Great Wall that will be sold worldwide.
This agreement seems to have no impact on the Coda sedan, five-passenger electric vehicle which will be manufactured in China Hafei with final assembly in the U.S.
