AGENCY of highway traffic safety United States NHTSA issued recall of Kawasaki KLX250caused by welding on a fuel tank leak potential due to excessive distance between the tank with arubberbacking on the frame.
Fuel leaks are very dangerous if exposed to sparks from spark plugs or excessive heat because it can pose a fire risk, considering the tank is right on top of the machine.
This is in accordance with the newsletter Kawasaki Safety RecallNo. MC11-04 issued earlier this week. According to NHTSAKawasaki motorcycles of all types of terrain affected by the recall include model of KLX250 2009 and 2010 and impact on the 9460 units.
Safety recall is intended that the Kawasaki dealers can inspect and repair the seat fuel tank if it is necessary at no charge.
