LR4 as 2012 new model of Land Rover in North America

LAND ROVER Discovery 4, known as LR4 in North America will be re-issued in 2012 that carries the model number of refinements. The most prominent is the introduction of a new automatic transmission 8 levels of speed. Artificial transmission ZF 8HP70 coded will be juxtaposed with the 3.0 liter diesel engine SDV6 which has also been upgraded to 256 hp 245 hp, while the surge torque of 600 Nm.

First installed in 2011 model Range Rover TDV8, 8-speed automatic transmission can improve fuel consumption of 8.8 liter/100 miles (11.36 km / liter) on the driving variable and reduce CO2 from 244g/km to 230g/km.

Along with the new automatic gearbox, improved Discovery 4 also presents the rotary gearshift 'Drive Select' and paddleshift on the steering wheel to take over the role of a semi-automated manual transmission as standard facilities.

In addition to the two design options velek alloy, Disco 4 offers a choice of three packages Vission Assist Pack with Xenon Adaptive Front Headlamps including Cornering Lamps, Headlamps with Automatic High Beam Assist and Surround Camera System with Approach Lamps.

In addition, there's more other facilities in the form of Tow Assist / Hitch Assist, plus new navigation and audio systems.
