Guiyang - Guyang, capital of Guizhou Province will become the second city after Beijing (since January 2011) limiting the purchase of new cars, in China. In the city boundary started in July 2011. Guiyang Local Government, as reported by automotivenewschina (13 / 7), starting this month will issue a sort of lottery tickets for the public to decide who can obtain a new license plate. If Beijing gives quota of 20,000 units per month, Local Government of Guiyang not mention numbers.

Guiyang with a population of 3.7 million inhabitants, the number of vehicles on the road reached 616,000 units, including 330,000 private cars. Local Government states, the number of vehicles on the road causing economic activity can not be effective because of jams everywhere.

Although not as big as Beijing, Guiyang step is expected to disrupt the growth of China's national automotive market. From Beijing's policy only, Asosisi China Automotive Industry predicts China market growth will come down drastically from last year from 37 percent to 5.8 percent.
