Driving Along hometown, police arrested five Arab Women

Riyadh - However, women in Saudi Arabia still feel injustice for all activities. They believe what they face and what they experience and come upon them because of injustice. Discrimination is not taught in their religion. their religion do not teach to treat women unjustly.




The struggle of women in Saudi Arabia who asked the kingdom to lift a ban on driving for women seem to keep winding. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia recently even hold at least five people were due to reckless driving her own car.

Previously, the Saudi Arabian women activists join forces to force the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ultra-conservative to lift a ban on driving for women. Various things they have done, from the campaign on the internet, took to the streets to ask auto manufacturers to stop selling cars in Arabic.

A human rights activist Eman al-Nafjan told the Associated Press and quoted aol, Friday (07/01/2011) says that the police had arrested a woman on Tuesday while driving on the coast of the Red Sea in Jeddah.

"Apparently, this is the first major pressure from the government," said al-Nafjan. "We're not sure what it means at this point and if this is the beginning of the hard line imposed by the government to the struggle," he added.

Early last month some 40 Saudi women sit behind the wheel as a form of protest because until now Saudi Arabia does not allow women to drive alone.

Previously an activist woman named Manal Al-Sharif must feel the cold prison walls due to perform a similar protest two months ago. At least six other women were also arrested after they were caught driving lessons in north of Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia at the time.
