AFTER two years since Hyundai present Genesis sedan and coupe rear wheel / rear wheel drive (RWD), now turn his group mates, Kia, to follow Hyundai.
Coupe V8 is presented by Kia in Frankfurt Motor Show
The British magazine What Car? reported that the head of Kia Hank Lee said his company requires new flagship car. To that end, Kia will display the concept of V8-engined RWD sports coupe at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2011, September.
Concept vehicle that will use the same platform with the new luxury sedan for the U.S. market which will be introduced in 2012. Kia will also display another concept with the same platform in the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), January 2012.
Apparently, Kia will choose one concept that is considered the best of both concepts to be produced and launced around 2015.
If you notice, Hyundai offers a V8 engine in the Genesis sedan, but not on the coupe model. Kia offers the only means of this configuration, except the 4.6-liter V8 engine or 5.0-liter available on the Genesis sedan, will be used also in the Hyundai Coupe.
