MUNICH - The first title in the category of exterior design, Kia vehicles are always the center of attention. Three models of Kia is also selected as the winner, Sportage compact SUV, a newcomer to Rio and the Kia Optima sedan.
Best exterior design achieved by Kia Motor for three models
Kia Motors successfully won the Automotive Brand Contest, the competition's brand and Germany desian by the Design Council. Kia Motors announced the jury panel won in four categories.
"We are all proud that Kia Motors has done well in this competition. Most important in the automotive industry is to change the focus of our basic design. MCH has provided a distinctive identity," said by Kia's chief designer, Peter Schreyer.
In the category of brand design, Kia had the status of best of the best. Schreyer said that Kia's new design theme is the great support of creative and professional work done by an international design team.
"The award is given to the latest variant of Sportage and Optima. And the first in our newest model, the Rio. That reflects the continuity of our efforts to uphold high standards of design," added Schreyer.
The Design Council Germany, the organizers Contesr Brand Automotive was founded in 1953 as an initiative of the Federal Parliament of Germany.
