Volvo Develops Animal Detection System for driving safety
The new system is planned to be launched within the next few years, working to warn the driver when the system detects the presence of animals. If the driver's response is too slow, the system will automatically reduce vehicle speed.
These systems utilize technology Pedestrian Detection and Full Auto Brake Volvo is currently adding a new camera and an infrared monitoring system for monitoring the road ahead. If it detects the presence of an animal at a certain distance, the system will give voice to warn drivers.
