KENTUCKY - Toyota Motor Corporation said yesterday, a plant in North America (U.S. and Canada) will recover to normal or 100 percent in September. Added, the recovery schedule was three months faster than previously expected.

Toyota's production and also several other manufacturers in the United States (U.S.) disrupted because of supply shortages caused by the earthquake and tsunami component that hit Japan on 11 March. Added, in August, Toyota's U.S. production has been able to reach 80 percent of normal conditions. In fact, on June 6, eight of the 12 models of Toyota are made in the United States has returned 100 percent.
"After September, we will focus on increasing production is lost as soon as possible," said Steve St. Angle, Excecutive Vice President of Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America. "Our team members and suppliers here and Japan have worked tirelessly so that we can re-produce in the conditions of 100 percent and solve other problems."
