Slough (DP) - Honda CR-Z Racer will accompany Nissan Nismo RC LEAF to appear in special exhibitions vers le futur Le Mans circuit in 2011 in Le Mans 24 Hours race of 2011.
CR-Z Racer armed with Li-ion battery was developed division 173 volt HPD (Honda Performance Development) at American Honda. Hybrid-engined coupe was first shown at SEMA Show 2010 in Las Vegas. In Europe, the CR-Z Racer is used as the safety car on Speed EuroSeries.
CR-Z Racer is not only on display at Le Mans, but it will do a few laps to demonstrate before the main racing progress.
Honda CR-Z Racer was produced in 2010. CR-Z wed engine 4-cylinder of direct injection turbocharged 1500cc SOHC with an electric motor. Power and torque of car 6-speed manual transmission achieves 200 hp and 237 Nm.
