FERRARI announced that the initial stage of selection Ferrari design contest world level has been completed. Now, the competition in collaboration with the Prancing Horse and Autodesk has selected seven finalists from 50 prestigious international design schools.

Seven schools that qualify to be a finalist is now ready to create the Ferrari of the future.
Seven schools are IEDs and IAAD of Turin (Italy), London Royal College of Arts (UK), the European Design Institute Barcelona (Spain), Seoul's Hong-ik College (Korea), DSK Supinfocom Pune (India) and the College For Creative Studies in Detroit (United States).
The second part of the competition include research design of car parts. The work of each finalist will be seen in 3D Autodesk Alias and physically scaled 1:4.
"The aim of the contest is to form a Ferrari in the future, that is pure hypercar, using technology and materials from the latest generation. An extreme supercar architecture and covers aspects such as hyper-light and hyper-fast, hyper-ecologic and hyper-technological . During this second round, students should be able to give special attention in detail and the formation of the interior, without leaving the functional aspects of the car, "explains company based in Italy.
Results from the second stage will be announced by July and the winners will be given the opportunity to intern at Ferrari, as well as cash prizes. Additionally, Autodesk will provide awards to the best student teams.
