SYDNEY - Hyundai Motor Company Australia (HMCA) kept trying to master the Australian automotive sector to seize market share by 9.6 percent in May 2011. It became the best record since the company was founded in September 2003.

In addition, Hyundai entrenched in third place with total sales of 7444 units. Best since the Hyundai brand was introduced to Australia in 1986.
Notes an increase of 16.7 percent in the same month last year. In passenger car sales, HMCA was also ranked third with sales of 5529 vehicles, up 13 percent.

And Getz holding onto the number one position in the light car segment with 1730 units sold. i30 is ranked third in the small car segment with 2479 sales results and received 13.8 percent unit market share.
