SIM-LEI, Electric Car can reach Cruising for distance of 333 km

TOKYO - Manufacturers of electric cars from Japan Sim-Drive launches its newest product prototype SIM-LEI (acronym of Leading Efficiency In-wheel motor) and claim to be the most economical in its class. With one battery charge (charging), this car can travel up to 333 km according to Japanese JC08 test.


LEI SIM-equipped battery-powered Toshiba 24.5 kWh, similar to those used in Nissan Leaf. However, electricity consumption is more efficient car only 77 Wh per mile, while Leaf mencpai 173 Wh per km.

To further save on electricity consumption, the SIM-LEI using steel monocoque frame, thin threaded tires and aerodynamic design of high-like car drag race.

Car berpenumpang four people will be introduced to the market in 2013 (tentative). In addition to Sim-Drive, a total of 34 companies in the middle of cooking the Japanese electric cars to be sold in bulk, including among others, Isuzu and Mistubishi.
