SINGAPORE - Manufacturers of motorcycle Harley-Davidson Anerika States strategic growth plan in the near future. The move was initiated by moving the Asia Pacific regional office of the company's global headquarters in Milwaukee to Singapore.
The company expects that the retail (unit) sales of Harley-Davidson motorcycle just outside the U.S. will exceed 40% of total sales in 2014. In 2010, international retail sales of 35.5 percent of total unit volume of the company, with the Asia Pacific region accounting for 9.4% of retail volume of Harley-Davidson.
All Harley-Davidson representative function for the development and support for the market in the Asia Pacific region represented in the new headquarters in Singapore. This includes about sales, marketing, dealer development, and others.
"This office is the foundation and evidence of Harley-Davidson's commitment to the Asia Pacific region. It will also introduce a brand ideals of individuality and self-expression to more HD customers here," said by Matt Levatich, President and Chief Operating Officer, Harley Davidson Motorcycle Company.
