American Journalist Testimony: it is Proved to be Powerful for Electric Car to overcome Post-Disaster in Japan

EARTHQUAKE devastating tsunami that struck braid and March 11 immediately paralyze the country's past. But thanks to persistent efforts in the recovery finally make this country back to normal life. And electric vehicles was instrumental in supporting this recovery.

Recently, the New York Times reporter Ken Belson post an article which reported the disaster and recovery in Japan. He spended five weeks in Japan, directly witnessed the destruction of the country.

On the sidelines of the focus report on the government's efforts to overcome the damage Japan's nuclear-powered power plants in Fukushima, she was interested in seeing the role of electric-powered vehicles are very much helping the recovery.

Belson stated that the vehicle type of plug-ins is to support recovery efforts, "Because when the interruption of gas supply in northeast Japan, the availability of electricity has been restored in most locations."

According to Belson, the reliability of electric vehicles on streets decorated with the debris in Sendai (the region which was devastated by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan), can make a picture to convince consumers that these vehicles are not just simply as a toy electric car for an environmentally sound manner.
