Geneva: In the event past 2011 Geneva Auto Show, MINI looks different. Super compact car comes with the concept of Rocketman, a modern interpretation of the first MINI model which it was launched last 1959.
According to information from within the company, this new MINI Rocketman just shows some features of a real MINI future. But the information was also mentioned that the Rocketman is likely to be produced as a separate model.
"We really learn from history and interpretation of future models based on that history," said BMW sales and marketing head Ian Robertson as told toAutocar. "The theme is not just a smaller MINI. Construction of the lighter, and the newest type components we will apply the MINI models," he added.
The basic concept MINI usually does lead to a mini-convertible car with three doors. Rocketman is equipped with an innovative features, for example, doors with tail gate system which it makes access so much easier. Tailgate consists of two parts, one of which is located on the roof of the car that will open wide while the lower part of the body of the car slid out like a drawer of the desk.
