Lorenzo: I do not imagine to leave Yamaha

Agile Yamaha rider in the arena of Motor GP, Jorge Lorenzo revealed to be not inconceivable to leave recent squad. "This is my fourth year with Yamaha and I could not imagine driving for another team," stated by 2010 world champion.

Yamaha also did not seem to want to release just agile and top rider having the birth of the Balearic Islands, Mallorca, Spain 24 years ago. Lorenzo is still under contract at Yamaha until 2012.

In recent years, he explained, Yamaha proved to be one of the top MotoGP teams. Now, it's time to work more strongly in order to maintain this achievement, in an interview with the Yamaha site.

Left behind Valentino Rossi who moved to Ducati, he automatically inherited the role - though not officially - as the spearhead Yamaha. Well, to be able to compete with two manufacturers Honda and Ducati, Lorenzo asked Yamaha to improve engine performance of Yamaha M1.

Because, since late last year and in the testing session, the Honda RC212V is so great. When competing in Qatar, he was the only Yamaha that the top five are controlled by Honda. So also in Jerez, Spain which lasted "a mess" due to the wet track, he won the race at home.

If Rossi was not touched by Casey Stoner, perhaps the result will be another race. So it was also with Andrea Dovisiozo, teammate of Stoner and Dani Pedrosa.

To be sure, it is recognized by Lorenzo, if this year's struggles are not light. "This year, for the first time I will develop the motor. It is a tough challenge and it's different from before."
