GENERAL MOTORS (GM) has reportedly proposed the name 'Crossvolt' which may be a name for the MPV version of the Chevrolet Volt that currently they are developing. The conclusion is strengthened by Crossvolt own name that we can describe as 'Crossover his Volt'.
Chevrolet alone has not provided an official statement related to that name which means, the conclusion was not necessarily true. The reason is, before these GM also has filed a patent in the name of which is still pending. Among them is the Chevrolet and Chevrolet Amp Strobe.
Whatever the name that will be given for the Volt version of MPV, MPV likely will have a display that resembles the Chevrolet Volt concept MPV5 ever shown last year at the Beijing Motor Show. Apparently, this MPV will have a size equivalent to the Chevrolet Orlando who would soon be launched in Indonesia.
