AGENCY Insurance for Highway Safety United States (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety / IIHS) recently completed the first test row of the vehicle plug-ins. Chevrolet Volt and Nissan Leaf was managed to obtain the best rating for the protection front, side, rear and when rolled during the accident.
Methods and procedures for testing accident on the vehicles type plug-in is no different from those conducted by IIHS against other cars.
Both pioneer car plug-in Volt and Leaf was tested along with 80 from other 2011 vehicle output to see how well the vehicle is able to protect the passengers when the accident occurred.
