TOKYO - Although new auto product will be introduced at the end of this year, but Mitsubishi has begun to open orders for compact electric commercial vehicles, "minicab-MiEV". Electric vehicle technology applied into the minicab was adopted directly from a small electric car of Mitsubishi i-MiEV. Before deciding to widespread commercial vehicles, Mitsubishi has made the use of the vehicle with the practicality test of Yamato Transport Co.. Ltd. since October 2010.

Two powerful variants of minicab-MiEV are differentiated based on battery capacity. For minibuses which uses 10.5 kWh battery, it take a distance of 100 km for all content, sold ¥ 1,700,000. While a larger capacity 16.0 kWh, can be used for taking distance of 150 km, sold and ¥ 2,050,000.
Nevertheless, because it is used for commercial purposes, the buyer will not get the incentive.
