Toyota was successfully sold 3 millions units of hybrid cars

Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) recorded sales of 3.3 million units of hybrid cars, which those scattered all over the world until February 28, 2011, according to an official statement from the TMC, Tuesday (8 / 3).

Toyota hybrid car trend started in 1997 in Japan. When the TMC launched the Coaster Hybrid EV in August, and the Prius - the world's first hybrid car produced in bulk - in December.

Until now, the TMC has sold 16 models of hybrid cars to at least 80 countries and regions worldwide, including 3 commercial model in Japan. TMC also prepares ten other models which those reportedly will be launched end of 2012, including new 6 models and 4 models are redesigned.

TMC estimates that cars that were produced have produced about 18 million tons of CO2 emissions from automobile exhaust pipes gasoline with the same size and performance.
