Google go green without doubt to invest and develop project of wind alternative energy

Recently, there is information on the latest tech news that Google has just done an investment of 5 billion dollars to help accelerate the development of wind energy in the U.S. east coast. This giant information technology company said it has agreed to finance 37.5% of the total needed. Windmill or wind catcher of wind energy project is planned to be built offshore. Long lines will be planted by windmills stretching across 563 miles from New Jersey north to Norfolk, Virginia. Offshore area was chosen for reasons for these windmill can catch the sea breeze blowing hard in this area.

In the first phase, Google promised to disburse funds of 200 million dollars. Google states very pleased with this project because the center of wind power is clearly oriented toward green technology. "This is a great opportunity for us to help meet energy needs in large quantities and based on environmentally friendly," said Richard L. Needham, Director of Google's green business operations group. The first phase of construction of wind power center is expected to be finished by 2016.

This giant project itself on the idea by Good energies, an energy center design company uses wind power fan as its main energy source. In addition to struggling in the development of wind power energy, Good energies which stood in 2001 is also involved in the development of solar energy and green building.
