Collaboration between Fiat and Tata Motor achieve fantastic success

Pune- Italy announced late last week that the Fiat factory in Ranjangaon, Pune, India in collaboration with Tata Motors has been producing engines up to 200,000 units. "The amount is extraordinary in a relatively short period of time. And this is proof of the commitment of both partners and tireless efforts that the team has been working to make world-class," said Gurpratap Boparai, vice-president of this cooperation to the Business Standard.


This manufacturing facility produces engine back in 2008 and became one of the world's largest engine plant that belongs to Fiat. The type of machine produced for several models of Fiat and the TM, namely diesel 1.3 L and 1.2 L petrol engines and 1.4 L.

Besides cardiac pacemaker, the plant also produces cars like the Palio Stile, Linea and Grande Punto. So, overall, the plant capacity to produce 300,000 units annually engines and 200,000 vehicles.

"Our cooperation with Fiat is a win-win for both parties. And this Fiat engine plant have moved the new generation Tata cars. In addition, these machines are also exported to various countries.
