Electric cars attract to Ford to invest USD 400 millions to prove to be the front of auto industry

Do you still remember Henry Ford? He made the best effort to introduce auto industry in mass publicly. As the pioneer of auto industry, it make sense for Ford company to observe recent or new significant development of automotive Electric cars is being focused on daily public rumors of how to save the world. Therefore, Ford erected an assembly plant in the case of being the front players of auto industry.

carmaker Ford, Tuesday announced it would pour 400 million dollars into an assembly plant in Missouri due to be ready to build a vehicle that has not been named.

Kansas City factory will shift from production of the Ford Escape SUV in order to "accommodate the production of new vehicles, while retaining the 3750 full-time workers," the company said in a statement.

"This investment and the promise of a new vehicle to be built at Ford's Kansas City's commitment to strengthen U.S. manufacturing and jobs for Americans," says Ford America President Mark Fields.

"new vehicles planned for the plant will be announced at a later date."

At the Detroit auto show recently, Ford said it will employ more than 7,000 U.S. workers over the next two years because it was pushed into the green car market and the industry continues to recover from a slump recently.

Ford's first car fully promote electricity, Ford Focus Electric, at the Detroit Motor Show.

Ford Chief Executive Alan Mulally said the company wants to have a full green cars appealing to customers because of rising oil prices.

Ford recently unveiled two hybrid, Hybrid C-MAX and C-MAX Energy, which it is a plug in hybrid.

Production of the Ford Escape will be moved to Louisville, Kentucky.
