Diesel Cars In Indonesia Will be the Future Trends along with electric cars and hybrid cars

Jakarta- When the electric car come, it is still difficult to realize in Indonesia. There are other machines which could be an alternative, that is, diesel. Diesel-engined cars were believed to be a new trend in Indonesia's automotive world.


Chairman of the First Joint of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo) Jongkie D Sugiarto said, "if the trend of diesel cars will be coming soon in Indonesia, it will follow the same trends at the global level".

"The trend in the future, Diesel! As usual, the trend was developing outside Indonesia, then it just enter Indonesia," he said at the Hotel Intercontinental Mid-Plaza, Sudirman Street, Jakarta, Tuesday (25/01/2011).

Currently Djongkie explained that the diesel engine is the automotive market booming in the world and it will soon rule the world of car sales.

Trends in diesel-engine car is also according to Djongkie, it will be the same with automatic car trend a dozen years ago. When the automatic car is not familiar and is considered one eye.

Beside it was 'too easy', automatic car prices were more expensive than manual cars circulated in advance.

And with a variety of technologies that exist in such CRDi diesel engine and the Common Rail, diesel engines have evolved and can be regarded as the future of car engines as well as hybrid cars and electric cars.

"In the past, 10-15 years ago there are baseball people who want to buy automatic car. Pleasantness was the driver,and it was expensive too. But now, automatic cars are very popular. So is this a diesel car," he explained.

"This is What it is happening right now to make people shame when they are at the gas station, due to the nice cars is queuing up behind the Mini Metro (local transportation)," joked.

"While diesel engines are now better than gasoline engines. Diesel engines are now much stronger and powerful than gasoline engines. Consumption is also more fuel efficient diesel engines than gasoline," he added.
